Positioning

Ohio has no shortage of people who build beautiful traditional furniture. I build the other thing — clean lines, live edge, epoxy, and pieces designed for a house built this century.

Pieces I've finished.

Click any piece for the full spec — species, dimensions, finish, and the hours that went into it.

02 ── Before & after Drag to compare

A slab off a fence line. Then a dining table.

I mill and dry a lot of my own stock, so a tree that came down on your property can end up as the table in your kitchen.

03 ── How a commission works No surprises, no mystery invoices

Five steps from idea to delivered.

Custom pricing depends on size, species and whether there's epoxy involved — so instead of a price list, here's exactly how we get to your number.

Step 01

Tell me the piece

Room, rough dimensions, and a photo or two of the space. Screenshots off Pinterest are genuinely helpful.

Step 02

Drawing and quote

You get a scaled drawing, a firm price, and a lead time — usually within three days, free.

Step 03

Pick your wood

We choose the actual slab together. You'll see the board your table is coming out of before I cut it.

Step 04

Build, with updates

Photos at milling, glue-up, pour and finish. You'll know where it stands the whole way through.

Step 05

Delivered and set

Brought in, placed, and levelled. Free inside 60 miles; quoted beyond that.

04 ── Starting prices Deposit 50% ── balance on delivery

What things generally run.

Real ranges, not "contact for pricing." Your quote lands inside these unless the piece is unusually large or the wood is unusually rare.

05 ── About Mount Gilead, Morrow County

Homeschooled, in the shop by six a.m.

I'm Brody. I'm fourteen, I'm a homeschooled athlete, and I've been building furniture out of a shop in Mount Gilead since I was twelve.

I know how the age lands when you're about to spend three thousand dollars. So I don't ask anyone to take it on faith. Every piece on this site lists the hours that went into it. You approve a drawing before I cut anything. You pick the actual board. You get photos at every stage. And half the money doesn't move until the table is standing in your house.

Homeschooling means my shop hours aren't nights and weekends — they're the middle of the day, every day. That's the real reason I can quote four weeks on something a bigger shop quotes twelve.
